Welcome to the Ivanhoe Diamond Valley Centre

Governed by a Committee of Management, IDVC was formally established in 1954, and is a not for profit community service organisation dedicated to delivering high quality services to people with a disability.

IDVC is one of the largest not-for-profit organisations in the North & West Metropolitan Region, delivering services predominantly throughout the municipalities of Banyule, Nillumbik, Darebin and Whittlesea.

IDVC currently supports approximately 150 people with a disability to realise and achieve individual goals and aspirations, with a strong emphasis on community capacity building activities. We seek to embrace community partnerships that promote sustainable and meaningful opportunities for people with a disability to engage with their communities as they choose. IDVC supports people with a disability to access opportunities to engage in life experiences that are meaningful for the individual.

As an employer of approximately 100 staff, we are committed to a culture of quality and continuous improvement that reflects meaningful outcomes for people with a disability and the community. IDVC strives to design and deliver services that are innovative and person directed in accordance with a range of legislative requirements.
